iii

Climate-Controlled Application

1 day for ceramic, 2–3 days for CPF, executed in your home with proper environmental controls. Your kitchen returns to use within 24 hours of completion.

iv

Aftercare & Annual Review

Detailed care protocol delivered in print. Annual inspection included with every Mariotti Signature. Your protection adapts as your home evolves.

Client Reviews

What our clients
actually say.

The Calacatta marble in our kitchen was starting to show etching from lemon and wine. After the Signature Protocol, I genuinely cannot tell it was ever touched. The film is invisible and the ceramic coating makes cleanup effortless. Worth every penny.

Mariotti Signature · Marble

I was skeptical about applying a film to a $18,000 quartzite island. The team was precise, professional, and the result looked better than before they started. Six months in and not a single scratch or stain has made it through. Extraordinary work.

CPF · Quartzite Island

Had the leather coating done on two full-grain Italian sofas. My kids spill things constantly and nothing gets through. The leather still feels exactly the same — soft, natural — but it repels everything. I've already recommended Mariotti to four friends.

Estimate

Estimate your project. Then let's talk.

Use the calculator to get an instant pre-estimate — then fill in your details below and we'll confirm in person. Enter the dimensions of each surface you'd like protected. Add multiple surfaces if you have a kitchen with island, bar, or vanity. The figure below is a pre-estimate — your final quote arrives after in-home consultation.

How to measure your surface

Take the longest side as length, and the shorter side perpendicular to it as width. Both in inches.

For an L-shaped kitchen, measure each leg as a separate surface. For an island, measure it on its own. The calculator handles multiple surfaces.

If a surface is irregular, round to the nearest inch — the in-home consultation will refine the final measurement.

FAQ

Questions we
actually answer.

What is Countertop Protection Film (CPF)?

Countertop Protection Film — also called Stone Protection Film (SPF) — is an optically clear, self-healing thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film applied directly to stone surfaces. Manufactured by brands like XPEL, SunTek and Stek, it creates a physical barrier against scratches, etching, heat damage and acidic spills. It is custom-cut to your countertop and is fully removable without residue. Mariotti installs CPF using XPEL-certified technicians.

What is the difference between CPF and ceramic coating?

CPF is a physical film that sits on top of the stone — it stops scratches, impacts and etch marks before they reach the surface. Ceramic coating is a liquid nano-ceramic that bonds molecularly to the stone, adding hydrophobic and UV protection without altering the appearance or feel. CPF lasts 7–10 years; ceramic coating approximately 5. The Mariotti Signature Protocol layers both for maximum protection.

How much does stone protection cost in South Florida?

Ceramic coating for a standard kitchen starts at approximately $450. CPF starts at approximately $850. The Mariotti Signature Protocol (CPF + Ceramic combined) starts at approximately $1,200. Final pricing depends on square footage, stone type and complexity. Use the estimate calculator on this page for a personalized quote — then send it to us directly via WhatsApp.

Is the film or coating visible after installation?

No. XPEL, SunTek and Stek CPF is optically clear — invisible to the naked eye when installed by a certified technician. It does not alter color, texture or finish. Ceramic coating is equally invisible after curing. Your stone looks exactly as your fabricator designed it. Just protected.

Do you apply ceramic coating to leather furniture?

Yes. Mariotti offers nano-ceramic protection for premium leather furniture using Gyeon Leather and Gtechniq L1 professional formulas. The coating bonds molecularly to full-grain, top-grain and semi-aniline leather, creating a hydrophobic, UV-resistant and oil-resistant barrier — without changing the hand-feel or appearance. Sofas, chairs, ottomans, headboards. 2–3 year protection.

How long does installation take?

Ceramic coating for a standard kitchen takes 2–4 hours. CPF installation takes 3–6 hours depending on surface complexity. The Mariotti Signature Protocol is typically completed in a single full-day appointment. Stone must remain undisturbed for 24 hours after application.

Which areas of South Florida do you serve?

Mariotti operates as a mobile studio — we come to you. We serve Miami-Dade (Coral Gables, Pinecrest, Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove, Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles, Doral, Aventura, Miami Beach), Broward (Fort Lauderdale, Weston, Parkland, Davie, Hollywood, Plantation) and Palm Beach (Boca Raton, Palm Beach, Wellington, Delray Beach, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens).

Can the film be removed? What happens after 10 years?

Yes. CPF is fully removable without leaving adhesive residue or damaging the stone underneath. At the end of its lifespan, it can be peeled off and a fresh film applied — or you may leave the stone unprotected. Many clients choose to re-apply. The stone itself is fully preserved under the film.

Service Area

Three counties. One standard.
